Lake Chaparral Mural Unveil and 30th Anniversary

Celebrate 30 years of Lake Chaparral Residents' Association at the Lake House with us at a very special anniversary event! Be among the first to see our new community mural created by Krystelle Celestino Wurtz of Krystelle Creations. She created the mural in collaboration with residents and inspired by the stories shared by community members that makes our neighborhood so unique. This mural honors our past, present, and future at Lake Chaparral.

Join us for the big unveiling , time capsule installment, refreshments, and the chance to leave your own mark on our community’s story. Every dot on the mural is a fingerprint from a community member, symbolizing our interconnectedness and the idea that "together, we can create beautiful things." -Krystelle

We introduced to the community that we were designing the mural and community members had the opportunity to fill out a survey to have input in the mural. Members were also encouraged to draw things that represented the lake.

June 24- Day 1 Painting

I began the painting by chalking out the words that the community members had shared with me. These are the words that describe Lake Chaparral and the feelings people have when they are here. These words set the intention for the painting and the stories we will share.
